REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:
It's okay when other people don't understand about the type of diet you are on. When you tell them you are on a diet, they ask you what you are doing and you tell them. Next, they tell you about their diet or a diet they were on at one time. They proceed to criticize your diet or tell you how their diet is better.
The way I can tell if their diet is working?
- Are they losing weight?
- Are they eating well balanced meals?
- Are they skipping meals or using meal replacements? (juicers or diet mixes?)
- Are they hungry most of the time?
- How is their stamina during the day? Do they have times of sleepiness or become lethargic?
- Yes, slowly.
- Yes, very well balanced (not a food pyramid but well balanced with protein, low sugar, low carb and non diet food).
- No, I'm actually eating more meals, every three hours. And no, I eat real food; no meal replacements.
- No, I hardly ever hungry, I actually have to force myself to eat.
- I have great stamina during the day; I hardly ever get sleepy and have plenty of energy. I sleep very well at night!
Exercise:
Swim for nearly an hour. Ahh!
Breakfast:
Egg MacNanna (as my family calls these) Two pieces of Oroweat whole wheat sandwich thins, one fried egg, two slices of bacon, one slice of sharp cheddar cheese. Mmmm, so good! Oh, and my usual coffee with half & half and one packet of Stevia in the Raw.
Breakfast S/C Total: 2/2
No A.M. Snack...out on errand.
Lunch:
Leftovers make easier, quick meals:
Pork (no sugar added) barbecue, spinach salad, four Brussels Sprouts, corn chips and a tiny bit of salsa.
WAY TOO MUCH FOOD, but I had a delicious leftover meal...nothing wasted, except that I couldn't eat it all...I only ate half...my dogs got the rest.
Lunch S/C Total: 2/2
A.N. Snack:
None
Dinner:
Turkey meatballs, whole wheat pasta, and Alfredo sauce-- (mixed salad should have been eaten here, but I had salad earlier in the day and just didn't want anymore).
Dinner S/C Total: 2/1
P.M. Snack:
1/2 cup of sugar free/low carb Braum's vanilla Ice Cream (yes, it's made with Splenda, but I cannot get any of the expensive Clemmy's). AND I had a cup of my usual coffee.
P.M. Snack S/C Total: 2/1
Daily S/C Total: 8/6
I was so close on this one. I just skimmed over on the carbs. IT was a great day, anyway. I'm very happy.
