Today, I wore a pair of jeans that were one size smaller...some that I still had way back in my closet. I didn't choose them on purpose, but by accident. Somehow they were closer in...I don't know how. Anyway, I confused them for the pair I usually wear. When I put them on, this morning, I was worried because they fit a little bit snugly. I was concerned that I did something wrong on the diet and had gained weight. I reasoned with myself, arguing that that couldn't happen. I've been very careful to keep away from the wrong kinds of food and limit my portions, too. I had a full day ahead and I was in a hurry to get to the grocery store, early, before it got too hot outside. I didn't have time to change pants. As the day wore on the cotton jeans stretched, somewhat, so after a few hours they were bearable. Tonight, I took them off to get ready for swimming and noticed that they were the wrong jeans...the smaller jeans. WOW! Even though they were tight, I was able to wear them...the entire day! I might wait a few more weeks before I give them another try, but this is promising.
