Week 5, Diet 3, Diet with Dianna

Today was a a hot one; only 102! At 7:30 pm I took a walk and the temperature had cooled to a whopping 98 degrees (AHH!). I walked, anyway. I didn't walk my usual brisk pace, but I kept up a decent pace to get my heart rate up. About half way through the walk, Pixie (my dog) and I  started looking for stray sprinklers and s-l-o-w-l-y walked through them to cool off! WHEW! I like swimming much better, so guess what I will be doing tomorrow?

Revelation Knowledge:
Eating well makes me feel well! Even though I have cravings for other food...sugary food...I am really enjoying my improved health more than I want the bad food!

Exercise:
Walking...*pant-pant-sweat-sweat*

Breakfast:
1 cup of plain Cheerios with Almond Milk (vanilla) unsweetened, 1/2 packet of Stevia, two pieces of bacon and one 1/2 slice of Oroweat whole wheat sandwich thins.
Breakfast S/C Total: 2/2





No A.M. Snack...too full from breakfast.
Lunch:
Half a Turkey Pastrami, baby spinach and Pepper Jack Cheese on Dark Rye.
Eight jalapeno chips.
1/2 cup steamed broccoli (leftover from 4th).
Lunch S/C Total: 2/2

A.N. Snack:
A handful of cashews.
A.N. Snack S/C Total: 0/0

Dinner:
Chicken Salad made from left over grilled chicken tenderloins from July 4th, seasoned yellow squash, and a few sweet potato fries - baked.
Dinner S/C Total:3/2









P.M. Snack
Jell-O sugar free chocolate pudding snack cup and a cup of coffee! Hmm-Hmm Delicious!
P.M. Snack Total: 0/0

Daily Total: 7/6
Well, I went over one serving on carbs...not bad...good day!
