Week 19, Day 1, Diet with Dianna

Monday! DRUM-ROLL PLEASE!!!!  I am down 25 pounds and I have lost a total of 7 inches in my waist! AMAZING! (Dianna is doing a happy dance around the room....)

 *Sigh*

Yesterday, I rummaged through my closet and removed all the clothes that are now "too big" and donated them to the local thrift store. I had a super-sized pile and my closet has a lot more room, now.  My daughter and I went to Ross and I found three tops...unfortunately, I gave away more shirts than I can replace at one time. That's okay, because I am only going to have to get more new ones as I continue to lose...I won't be making a lot of purchases until I get to my goal!

Exercise:
Yep...I walked 1.5 mi...briskly!

Revelation Knowledge:
Seasons...not just the weather, but a season of change for my body and mind. It is for the better to constantly strive towards improvement. I have changed my life in many ways and some by choice. As we get older, not by choice, our bodies change. Our metabolism slows down and we aren't as active as we once were. I know that I have always been super active in my lifestyle, but not active in the exercising way. I have exercised sporadically through the years, but now I know that this will also have to be a permanent change. I will have to add this to my daily lifestyle routine...just like bathing, brushing my teeth, getting dressed...and so on. This is not something that I can skip. This is a necessary part of my daily regimen...and I have to change my mindset...reprogram my way of thinking. If I want to maintain a thin figure, I will have to exercise.

No one wants to pay taxes, but it is something that we have to do. No one wants to go to work, every day, but it is something that we have to do. I don't know too many people that like to do laundry or household chores, but it is something that we resolve to incorporate into our lifestyles. Well, that's the way it is for eating healthily and exercising...they are synonymous...they must go together!


Breakfast:
One fried egg
Two slices of bacon
Coffee (the usual way)
Breakfast S/C: 0/0

Snack:
A few almonds and cashews
Snack: S/C 0/0

Lunch:
Small salad w/Newman's Own Reduced fat Italian dressing
Hot dog - half a side of a hot dog bun w/mustard
Lunch S/C: 1/1

Snack:
One wedge of Laughing Cow Garlic and Herb cheese
Snack S/C: 1/0

Dinner:
Homemade Broccoli Cheese soup
One square of corn bread with butter
Lifewater 0 Calorie (sweetened with Truvia) Fuji Apple Pear
Dinner S/C: 2/2

Snack:
Small slice of my sugar free Pumpkin Spice no bake cheesecake! Dessert Recipe
Cup of Pumpkin spice flavored Godiva coffee w/half & half and one packet of Stevia
Snack S/C: 1/1

  1. Woo Hoo! Congratulations!! 25 pounds! You are my hero. Keep up the great work!

    I can't wait to catch up. I look forward to cleaning out my closet. Like you, this is it. Never again. I am keeping it off and I will be giving the clothes away too cause I won't be coming back.
