Today was a most difficult day to stay on the three hour schedule. Why; Because it was Saturday. We have church on Saturday afternoons at 5 p.m. This morning was hectic just having everyone home and not on our normal week day routines. We sleep late on Saturdays, so we get a later start…it has just messed everything up and I am not going to fret over this. I've had five days of good timing; one day will not mess up the entire diet!
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:
I cannot eat so often, because I am too full from the previous meal. I have decided to cut my portions down, even smaller. I suppose I have a slow digestion process (metabolism).
EXERCISE: Just walking, daily, a mile to a mile and a half, with my dog and other family members. I would like to add some resistance rubber banding for toning up my arms…maybe some yoga later.
I cooked for the whole family; not everyone needs to lose weight and they have not adopted my food plan. My husband and daughter eat with me and what I cook for them…they are on board that way. My two sons are strictly meat and potatoes and no low fat, no sugar, and not many fruits and veggies. I’m still hoping that they will someday come around to the fruits and veggies!!!!!
Breakfast: (no photo...too many people around and too busy to stop and take a picture...this time you will have to use your imagination.)
I cooked breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Eggs, bacon, and cheese are agreeable to all. Mine, my husband’s, and my daughter’s, were all prepared on the whole wheat low carb tortillas.
Breakfast S/C Total: 1/2
A grilled chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a side egg roll from Jack in the Box; that was my first outing to a fast food restaurant since I’ve begun. I had Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.
Lunch Total: 2/2
Afternoon snack: None, we left for church at 3:45 p.m.
No dinner, just a snack (no photo's either...we were at the church coffee shop)
After church I had a bag of Sea Salt chips and a SF Vanilla Latte Frappuccino. They use milk and not half & half...I went way off on this one. YIKES!!!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!!!
I cannot always have good days, and I won’t kick myself for things that are out of my control. Today I did my best to eat as healthy as possible by sticking to the rules and picking within the sugar/carbs counting system (seen at the side panel of this blog page). Even if I fail on some occasions, I am going to pull up my boot straps and be successful at losing weight!
Dinner Time: 23/1
After Dinner Snack: Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding cup.P.M Snack, S/C Total: 0/1
S/C Daily Total:26/6
CHEER: I can do it. As Scarlet O’Hara said, “After all…tomorrow’s another day”.
