Day Seven, Diet with Dianna

Whoo-Hoo! One Week! I've made it!  I won't know until tonight if I have lost any inches and weight. I don't feel much different or see any significant change in my clothes. HOWEVER, I have been full all week and I haven't had tiredness after meals. I have slept good and had better amounts of energy.
Let me also say, I've noticed, without gross details, that ALL bathroom related necessities and frequencies have improved and are more regular. :D

REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:
Keeping a diary of my consumed food had helped me be more aware of the food that I eat. It has also helped me see where I need to improve and where I need to cut back.

FRUSTRATIONS:
Counting the grams of sugar is easy enough, but converting the carbs to servings in a very aggravating. I think that if I were to just count the carbs only, it would be easier than the servings thing!  120 grams of carbohydrates a day, is simple enough. I will see if this method is easier than the converting thing.  I just don't get the reason why they think it is easier to do all that math? Was it to make it easier?  It isn't easy for me...but if it is easy for you, okay! I hope this will get easier as I get more accustomed to it all.

EXERCISE:
I enjoy the walking. I want to add, as I said the other day, some rubber banding for toning and I will try to incorporate that starting, tomorrow.  I am easing into all this health stuff. Too much at once is overwhelming.

BREAKFAST:

Fiber One Pancakes (I made them smaller than normal pancakes). The box shows 36 g of carbs for three normal size pancakes (1/2 cup of mix). I used about 1/8 cup for each pancake. They were small but filling.
2 Tablespoons of Vermont SF Maple Syrup (`/4 cup = 11 g sugar) and SF whipped cream (5 g sugar & 18 g carbs). Two scrambled eggs, and two pieces of bacon.
Coffee with half & half.
Breakfast S/C Total: 5/2

LUNCH:
Sauted Seasoned Chicken, corn on the cob, baked sweet potato fries.
(5 S, 16 C)
Lunch S/C Total: 3/3

Afternoon Snack Time
I met the girl's for Sunday Night Starbuck's for coffee with half & half and I ate a handful of cashews before I went.:
My daughter had a vanilla frapuccino and a pumpkin scone.
My mother had a SF Vanilla Latte'.
My sister had a HUGE Mocha Frappuccino. I'm happy that they all enjoy the drinks and food. I do too, BUT  I didn't eat a thing; I did great by only having a regular coffee with half & half, and I had my own packet of Truvia in my purse. YIPPEE  *Pat-pat-pat*

Snack S/C Totals:1/0

Dinner Time:

I had two slices of a California Pizza Kitchen Margherita Pizza, a side salad of baby spinach and four pepperoni slices in light Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing.
Dinner S/C Totals: 3/3

Daily S/C Totals:12/8
EXERCISE:
Walked about 1.5 miles... It was nearly 90 degrees outside at 10 pm, but we walked it anyway.

MEASUREMENTS and WEIGHT LOSS:
WHOO-HOO  I am down to 44" in the waist (a loss of 2 inches in one week!)
Yippee!  I am down 2.5 lbs.!!!!!!  I am making progress! I don't feel it or see it much, yet...but the tape measure and the scales are not lying. :D
I am doing a happy dance...you'll have to take my word on this!!!!
