Yesterday was a great day for my diet. I didn't have any struggles. Sadly, I did not exercise. I just ran out of time and then it was after 11 p.m. and I just didn't have the desire to walk. My dog wasn't happy; she really enjoys her walks.
I am curious if I have lost any inches. I want to measure, but I am going to wait until I've been on this for seven days! I don't really feel any different, except for I stay full and don't get cravings. I didn't even eat all of my meals, any of them. I left food on my plate. I like being full and feeling satisfied without the heaviness and lethargy that occurs after eating a big meal. A big meal is considerably smaller, but filling.
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:
This diet has required me to plan and think. Two things that I can do but haven't really practiced, when it comes to food, in a long time. It has been like a game, almost. I look at food differently and amazingly, It hasn't really taken that much more time in my schedule, other than the planning. I still have to cook and do the grocery shopping. I only have to make better choices.
I still am not liking the converting food to S/C's. I know it will get easier, but I get rushed and sometimes feel impatient. I know that this is a temporary feeling and It will get better as I get better.
Breakfast:
- Oats with 8 blueberries, whipped cream, soy milk, and Truvia. S/C=4/2
- Coffee with half & half. 0/0
- Half a Oroweat sandwich thin, toasted with butter.1/1 DELICIOUS!
Breakfast Total S/C: 4/2
AM Snack Time:
1 cup of Cheese Popped Corn. I enjoyed this and it was fun to eat. I knew it was going to be later before I would get to eat lunch. I had some in a baggie, just in case. YIPPEE!! I can be taught.
Snack Total: S/C 0/0
Lunch:
I didn't get to make lunch until 1p.m. I made a Turkey and bacon wrap* with spinach, cheddar & swiss cheese, dill pickle relish (a very small amount) and some salad pepper rings. I added a mayonnaise dressing with seasonings: chilie powder, cayenne pepper, buttermilk dressing powder, and smoked paprika powder.
Tortilla chips (way too many I ate a few and put the rest back.) 0/1
Huge glass of tea with lemon.
Total Lunch S/C: 1/1
*One La Banderita Soft Taco, Low Carb/Low Fat
Afternoon Snack time:
Nothing...I didn't have time and we ate dinner too early. Naughty girl. I am not suppose to skip meals or snacks. I must do better. :D
Whole wheat Rotini with Alfredo sauce, steamed broccoli, and sauteed summer squash, and to drink , SoBe Lifewater (apple cherry).
Total Dinner S/C: 7/3
Evening Snack:
One, World Market, All Natural, Orange Chocolate Rolled Wafer
Coffee with half & half and half a package of Truvia sweetener.
Total Evening Snack S/C: 3/2
Daily S/C Total: 15/8
Well, I over did it on the sugars...I am allowed to have 6 and I overdid it by 2.
I will do better tomorrow! I am still eating MUCH, MUCH HEALTHIER!
