Week 38, Sunday, Diet with Dianna

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Today was a great day. I had a few cravings but I was able to fight them off through prayer and focusing on the Lord. I made homemade cheesy pizza bread sticks for my family. I ate two of them and they were DEE-LISH!
I snacked on some grapes and a few nuts and raisins.
For dinner, we ate at my sister's house. We attended a birthday party for my nephew. CUPCAKES were served, but I didn't even crave or want one. I had some fresh fruit, cheese, and some sliced turkey. I ate a couple of chips...spicy barbecue...but only a couple.  I drank tea and after dinner a cup of coffee.

I have chosen to not drink any carbonated drinks for six weeks, until Easter. I was really wanting something bubbly this afternoon, but managed to stay off the craving.

Today was an excellent day!!!!

I did 20 minutes of upper body exercises with the dumbbells.

  1. Temptations are always around but with God's power and grace, they become minor distractions rather than major attractions!
