Week 35, Thursday, Diet with Dianna

"Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food."  Romans 14:20a (NIV)

Tonight was the first night for a new Bible study group that I am leading. Whoo-hoo! Five, beautiful women came and it was awesome. We are studying, "Made to Crave" by Lysa Terkeurst.  I am so encouraged and excited to have this opportunity. I know that we all will grow spiritually and benefit physically from this study.

Here is an excerpt from Lysa's book and Bible Study series:

*****

... no diet would have ever been permanently successful until I got to the real root of my problem.
The root of my issue was craving food more than God. I desired and depended on the instant high of physical gratification because I hadn’t learned how to let God satisfy my deepest needs.  This realization became a call to action...
... Old thought patterns:
“I need these chips.  I deserve this ice cream.  I must have that extra large portion."
New thought patterns:
Chips will only taste good for the moment.  But the calories are empty and will do nothing good for my body.  2 Corinthians 7:1 reminds me, “…Let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit… out of reverence for God.”

*****

I did not blog on Wednesday. All day Tuesday and Tuesday night we had a lot of rain; about 5.5 inches. "Well, the rain came down and the floods came up, but the house on the rock stood firm."  Wednesday morning I woke up and walked into the office, *splash, splash*, oh! no!. The water and seeped into the house in our office and my son's room. The carpets were very, very wet, cold, and squishy. I spent most of the day vacuuming with the wet/dry vac, putting down mildewstat and turning on fans. There was a lot of furniture moving... and....well you get the picture.  I was just too tired to blog last night. I got plenty of physical exercise...but not the kind I prefer.

I am so grateful that God protected us and that it was only water that entered the house. I am so grateful that it was only heavy rains and not damaging thunderstorms or worse. God is good! I am grateful that I was able to do the cleaning and that all is dry and back to normal tonight! Praise God!

EXERCISE:
Yep! walked briskly 1.5 miles
Kettlebells while I watched a movie, "This Side of Heaven".

Today's Menu:
Small bowl of oats with blueberries, a blueberry sugar free whole wheat muffin and coffee.

Lunch:
Turkey patty, small bowl of mixed green lettuce, and tea

Dinner:
Steamed homestyle meatballs, steamed broccoli, and mashed potatoes

Snack:
carrots, tomatoes, cheese squares and a few Pretzel Crisps and coffee (with my Bible study group!)

Week 34, Monday, Diet with Dianna

Proverbs 1:1-7: These are the wise sayings of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:  They show you how to know wisdom and teaching, to find the words of understanding. They help you learn about the ways of wisdom and what is right and fair. They give wisdom to the child-like, and much learning and wisdom to those who are young. A wise man will hear and grow in learning. A man of understanding will become able to understand a saying and a picture-story, the words of the wise and what they mean. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of much learning. Fools hate wisdom and teaching.

Monday! Great day! Busy Day! I spent the day helping my sister with her website and then going to the doctor with my son. He has been fighting off severe allergies and finally had to go to the doctor for some heavy duty medication. He is on the road to recovery! I know he will be feeling better by tomorrow!

I didn't get to do all that I planned but I did get to help others and that is very rewarding.

EXERCISE:

Yes! I enjoyed a long brisk walk with my husband and son!

Today's menu:
Toast, egg, turkey sausage, coffee

Apple and a few thin pretzels

Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich (I discarded the bread.), a few fries
When I got home several hours later I ate some Mixed Baby Lettuce with Gorgonzola cheese and a few mixed nuts and oil and vinegar dressing.

Snack: Single serving Sugar Free Pudding cup and coffee.

Week 32, Friday, Diet with Dianna

Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Gorgeous, beautiful, warm day. I stayed home most of the day today, however, I didn't just sit around doing nothing. First, I fixed breakfast for myself, my daughter and son. Then I walked the dog. Next I got in my car and drove down to the local auto store for some two stroke engine oil. Then back home to blow leaves and then mulch leaves. Whew! My son and I finished up in a couple of hours. I got some good exercise. I'm glad I've been working out. My arms didn't get fatigued holding the leaf blower, like they used to.
When I was finished I looked like "Pigpen" from Charlie Brown. As I walked I left a trail of dust and dirt.
I showered and spent the rest of the day was catching up on emails, and laundry.

Exercise:
Walked 1.5 mi
Mowed & blowed leaves.
I even kettlebelled before I went to bed! I had so much energy today. Wow!

Today's Menu:
Fried egg, turkey sausage, toast, coffee
Small bowl of chili and diet coke zero
Small bowl of chili with added mixed veggies & water
Three mini Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies and a cup of coffee.

Week 32, Thursday, Diet with Dianna

Wow! Great day! Stayed busy most of the day. I did eat well. Woke up late but grabbed a piece of toast and coffee as we ran out the door. Later I baked cookies for the family and made two pots of chili. One with beans (I like the beans) and some without beans (my men folk like it bean-less). OH, so Dee-Lish-Ous!!!!! Good winter comfort food!  It was good and spicy, which made my nose water.

Exercised:
Kettlebell
Did not walk.

Revelation Knowledge:
Psalm 139:13 & 14  You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Even though we may change our eating habits, we still have cravings for unhealthy foods. Here is a testimony from a girl who replaced her cravings for food to Cravings for Jesus and gained control over her fleshly desires:

After having lost 60 pounds through exercise and changes in diet, I knew I still had not conquered my addiction to food and I privately feared that I would gain the weight back. Despite my physical success, I still fell prey to desires for the sugary treats and unhealthy meals. During a session at a health conference at my church, the speaker (Dr. Celeste Owens) mentioned... spiritual malnutrition. I can’t thank God enough for the book and for Lysa.Made to Crave has changed my life. I’m now down 75 pounds, with a goal to take off a total of 120 pounds. I know that each choice I make determines my victory or defeat. I tell everyone about this book. Even my trainer (a male) is reading it! — Vanessa T.  http://madetocrave.org/success-stories/

Today's Menu:
Toast and coffee (on the run).
Jason's Deli: Salad bar (I measured out 3 cups total salad and topping) Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, red onion, apples, nuts, raisins, feta cheese, spinach leaves, and romaine. Oil & Vinegar dressing. :D
Bowl of homemade chili (three beans and ground turkey) DEE-LISH!
Spiced Pumpkin cookie and coffee for a late snack.

Week 29, Saturday, Diet with Dianna

Revelation Knowledge:

Luke 1:68-70
New Life Version (NLV)
“Let us thank the Lord God of Israel. He has bought His people and made them free. He has raised up from the family of David One Who saves people from the punishment of their sins. His holy early preachers told us this long ago. [ Bible Gateway ]

Okay...I see more and more articles and videos on the internet and television about Kettlebells. They are quickly rising in popularity. The reason I think this is happening is because they are just so easy to use. You don't have to go to a fancy gym and you don't have to have a lot of them. One or two of them and you have a complete total body workout.

I like them better than dumbbells. I like swinging it and how my heart rate jumps right up, and then I begin to sweat. They don't look like much but then you see someone swinging one around and you think..."ha! that's child's play". NOPE...It is much tougher than you think...really.

I challenge you to just try it for 5 minutes...using a 5 lb. or 10lb. kettlebell.  The next time your at a super-sized department store or athletic store , go by and pick one up in the sporting goods/exercise department. Give it a swing. I'll bet you'll swing it more than once.

Hey, they are rather inexpensive, too. It's a great way to get muscle tone AND aerobic exercise at the same time. Double the benefits.

I have attached two links: One, is to an article about kettlebells and the other is a quick video routine.

Just look!

Prevention Magazine, Kettlebells

Kettlebell Workout

I ate a piece of pound cake yesterday...so I will double up on my exercise, today. Was it worth it? Probably not, but I did it anyway.

Saturday's menu:
Egg, turkey sausage, biscuit, coffee

After church we went to Taco Cabana. I had street tacos...beef, onion and corn tortillas...very small. I ate three of them and a diet coke with lime.

and a piece of pound cake with coffee.

EXERCISE:
I walked and then kettlebell for 8 minutes.

Week 24, Sunday

I Peter 2. 15-16, For it is God's will and intention that by doing right [your good and honest lives] should silence (muzzle, gag) the ignorant charges and ill-informed criticisms of foolish persons.
[Live] as free people, [yet] without employing your freedom as a pretext for wickedness; but [live at all times] as servants of God. (Amplified Bible)
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:  If I am a slave to God, then I cannot be a slave to food!  I crave the Lord, I don't crave food! I eat to live, not live to eat! I feel the emptiness with the Word of God. I don't fill the emptiness with food!

24 weeks and 31 pounds less! NICE!!!!
Good Morning Sunday! My hubby worked all weekend at church, operating camera. I miss hanging with him when he's gone all weekend. I'm glad that he enjoys volunteering, it's just too bad that it uses up all the free time on the weekends. He barley has any free time to rest up for the upcoming week.  I don't see how he does it? Up everyday by 4 a.m, at work by 5 a.m., works out until 5:45 a.m. showers and is eating breakfast by 6 a.m. and busy at his desk working by 6:30 a.m.  He has been doing this for the past two years, now. He has lost a lot of weight and has really buffed up. He is in better shape than he was at 30, 40, or 50. Amazing. His stamina and consistency just puts me in awe!  I am so grateful that he is a good example to our family. He is also a Godly man! I am truly blessed.

This morning I slept until 8 a.m. and got up to make breakfast to only three members of our family. Leftover pancakes for the young'uns and egg, bacon and coffee for me...and a spoon full of raw steel cut oats...FIBER is my friend. I really like munching on the oats, they have such a yummy flavor...uncooked. If I were to cook the oats, they would take nearly 30 minutes. So I'll just take a spoonful and get the same benefits without all the calories.  Now, from time to time I will cook some hot steamy oats...for a cold morning and add a packet of stevia and some fresh blueberries! OH! DEE-lish-ous!  It's making me hungry.  ~Time to get up and exercise...

My mom gave me some 5 alarm peanuts...they are so good! I grab a few and my mouth heats up. They are a fun snack and good for me!

Menu:
One pan fried egg, and one slice of bacon.

Handful of spicy peanuts

Garden Salad (Olive oil and vinegar dressing) and roasted chicken

Beef taco salad...homemade - lower in calories and lower in fat! (I use freshly ground turkey breast). SO DEE-Lishous!

1/2 cup of sugar free cherry Jell-O

GOOD DAY!

I like Friday! Week 24, Diet with Dianna

Fun Friday! Whoo-hoo. Did some volunteer computer work, ate breakfast, got dressed, did a little more volunteer computer work, and then headed off to work on some book edits and lunch. After lunch the car would not start...well it actually made the cranking noise, but wasn't getting any fuel. Uh, oh! Called a tow truck and it is sitting at our mechanic's garage. Possible fuel pump or fuel sensor (in most Ford Product that are the Crown Victoria, Mercury Marquis and similar cars). WE just replaced the entire fuel tank assembly last summer. Ford thought that the fuel pump and tank should all be one unit....therefore it all has to be replaced when it fails! BOO-HISS! Mean ol' Ford!  This Grand Marquis was a FREE gift from my Grandfather for us to drive, since we didn't have a car. I'm not complaining, mind you, but I don't really like (nor would I purposefully purchase) FORD products...

The day was, absolutely gorgeous, windy, partly cloudy, and cool. We stood outside waiting for the tow truck and my husband that was on his way from the other side of town to rescue us from the parking lot. The tow truck driver, Charlie, was so very kind. His truck cab only seated two additional riders, therefore, one of our party would have been stranded. He waited with us until our ride showed up. We followed him to the garage and our mechanic met us out front..."This doesn't look good..." he says to me. We laugh and he already had a bay cleared for our car to be pushed into. ~Side note: we spend a lot of time and money with this mechanic. My husband is a very gifted man and perfectly capable of doing the repairs, but chooses not to when we have a mechanic that will do it for nearly peanuts and he has all the employees and tools, and lifts, and the such.

We also use this opportunity to be a witness to him for Christ. He was raised in a Buddhist family. He no longer follows the Buddhist ways, but he doesn't follow any thing. He is such a kind, honest and caring person. We would love for him to join us in eternity! I don't know why our car has been attacked with malfunctioning, but we are God's tools and He will provide for the expense of repairs! No worries!

Revelation Knowledge:
Sitting in the car, listening to the engine turning but not getting fuel reminded me of dieting. We diet and sometimes forget that our bodies need fuel. Not enough of the right kind of fuel (nutrition) and our bodies will get tired quickly and begin to hurt and our brain gets fuzzy...putt-putt-sputter-blahhhh.

Too much fuel and we get bogged down, tired quickly, gasping for air, needing to pull over for frequent pit stops...equally bad.

Eating and exercising is just like maintenance on your vehicle. Add in the right type of fuel, right air pressure in the tires, regular preventative maintenance, and it will last for a long time. That's the way it is for our bodies, too.

Eat the right kinds of food, exercise, and regular checkups and our bodies will last for a long, long time.

Scripture:Isaiah 40:28-31: The LORD is the everlasting God,    the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary,    and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary    and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary,    and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD    will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;    they will run and not grow weary,    they will walk and not be faint.

Today's Menu:
One egg-fried, two turkey sausage patties, coffee

Half a Schlotzsky's Small Original Sandwich and a few Jalapeno chips.

Saltgrass Steakhouse - small dinner salad, one slice of bread, and some fried mushrooms! DEE-LISH!

Week 24, Thursday, Diet with Dianna

OH MY! I started at 7:30 a.m. and haven't stopped yet. 2:18 a.m. I am so tired. I had so much to do and it still isn't finished. I give up for today. I didn't have time to walk, but I did Kettlebell for 15 minutes. My arms, legs, rib cage and ankles...yes ankles are sore today. I really worked hard on the kb yesterday. I didn't work nearly as hard because my muscles were not happy.  My rib cage is sore the most....come on sculpted bod!!!

These are not diet food!

My daughter and I did baking/candy making and some then crafts to make some Christmas banners today. WHEW! Labor intensive on the CakePops, cake balls, and then the fairly simple on the Christmas banners.
I only tasted a small bite of my husbands cakeball. It was so good but way too sweet for me! This is such a strange phenomenon to not want to eat all the sweet stuff...Its satisfying to be able to easily resist! Thank the Lord!

I ate well...
Breakfast:
Egg
Turkey Sausage
Coffee

Lunch:
Jason's Deli Salad  (My favorite)
I did eat one mini cornbread and one mini gingerbread muffin.

Dinner;
Single beef taco.
Diet Coke

No snacks...just too busy.

Tomorrow....don't worry about tomorrow!

God is good and I am very blessed!

Week 24, Wednesday, Diet with Dianna

Wednesday ~ Again, I post early because I know my day is going to be extremely full. Tuesday, I didn't get to walk twice. However, my hubby and I walked for 3 miles after dinner...actually, we did some jogging mixed in with the walking...at my suggestion. Since I've lost so much weight, I feel like I could fly. I have so much more energy and walking is a breeze. I ran about a 1/4 mile before my shins begin to burn and I returned to a brisk walk. Later during the walk I jogged again. I hardly got winded. Mind you, it was not an all out sprint but more like a trot. Still, it was more than I have ever done before. I was so surprised that I could jog and talk without gasping for air. Not even a slight stitch in my side. It was such a bizarre feeling to jog.  Now the Girls in BRAzil where out of control. I had to run with my forearms just south of the Brazilian region to keep the girls from going wild)!  Truly hilarious.

Revelation Knowledge:
Generosity -- It is easy to be generous when you have plenty. It's during the drought that it becomes a labor of love to give. Give from the heart and joyously!
Mark 12.43-44 Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.”

Exercise:
I plan to walk 3 miles
Kettlebell and Resistance band

Food:
Breakfast: Egg, Turkey sausage, coffee

Lunch: (to be updated)

Dinner: (to be updated)

Week 23, Tuesday, Diet with Dianna

I had a day of my usual "taking care of the family". I am so blessed to be able to be a "stay at home" wife and mother. Even though our children have grown to adulthood, they still have needs, especially since they all work full time. It is my honor and privilege to support them in any way! Today, I volunteered to take my son's vehicle to get inspected and have a part replaced. I had to get up early, so my morning walk became a mid-afternoon walk. I also had to make a run to the craft store, pet store, and grocery store. WHEW! That all takes time, and a lot of it.
Tonight is our Bible study group meeting, so I will be walking late tonight. I am not complaining and I am grateful that I am flexible and persistent with my exercise/walking. I will fit it in when and where I can. NO worries!

Revelation Knowledge:
MERRY - Proverbs 17:22a, A merry heart does good, like medicine... Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance...
According to a 2009 study by cardiologists at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, LAUGHTER, along with an active sense of humor, may help protect you against a heart attack. The study, which is the first to indicate that laughter may help prevent heart disease, found that people with heart disease were 40 percent less likely to laugh in a variety of situations compared to people of the same age without heart disease. http://www.umm.edu/features/laughter.htm
"We could perhaps read something humorous or watch a funny video and try to find ways to take ourselves less seriously," Miller says. "The recommendation for a healthy heart may one day be exercise, eat right and laugh a few times a day." Dr. Michael Miller, M.D. (director of the Center for Preventive Cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center and a professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.)
When you are happy (merry, joyful, rejoicing, singing, happy), its hard to be grumpy. The joy of merriness is contagious and it can turn many situations around to good. It can calm the savage beast (a mean check-out clerk or a person that is sad and needing a mental hug). When you are merry, you reflect the Love of Jesus to those you meet. When you are happy, laughing, joyous, it heals your heart. I'd much prefer "laugh lines" than "frown wrinkles".

My suggestion to you is...turn your frown, upside down. Smile--laugh--be happy--and Give God the Glory!

Week 22, Saturday, Diet with Dianna

Ooh! Saturday...sleep late and enjoy the day.

  • I went for a cool morning walk with my handsome hubby,
  • got back home and showered,
  • moved some outdoor furniture to make room for car,
  • worked on some book edits with youngest son,
  • Got to go to church and worship and praise the Lord,
  • Went on a late night walk with daughter and youngest son - very cool temperature.
This was a completely AWESOME day!

REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:
Discouragement: Don't get frustrated with plateau's or mistakes...count your blessings instead. If you beat yourself up for every mistake you will become discouraged and that is a sure fire way to fail.  Be accountable to someone you trust and let them help encourage you and support you. Stay on track with your diet because each day you are successful is a blessing and you are that much closer to reaching your goal! A mistake, here and there, will not cause a diet to fail. Be cautious not to make the same mistakes over and over, though.
Keep exercising and watching your calories/sugar/carbs. You are a success!

Week 22, Day 3, Diet with Dianna

Wednesday - Such a great day! I ate breakfast with my only daughter and youngest son. Later on my son and I headed off for book edits and sat at the local coffee house, using our computer notebooks and spent several hours editing. It was a very productive day.

After we returned, I worked on my cookbook. Then I went outside to kick around the soccer ball with my three year old nephew. After the guys got home from work, I cooked homemade hamburgers, on my indoor counter-top grill,  and steamed some brussel sprouts as a side dish! Oh....sweet Heaven, they were de-li-cious!

As a treat, later on in the evening, we ate a slice of my No bake, sugar free, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake and swigged down a cup of coffee!

Revelation Knowledge:
Stop complaining about your situation. Does venting your frustrations actually accomplish anything, or does it bring more frustration and turn into anger?
Instead, Give God the glory for all His wonderful blessings. I am reminded of the Bible verse:
Philippians 4:8, And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are worthy of praise. (New Living Translation)

Week 22, Day 1, Diet with Dianna

I will go back and add the days that are missing. Sorry, I've been too busy to sit down and blog. I need to work on my priorities. :D

Monday -Whew, I was so busy today! I got so much done! Laundry, vacuuming, dusting, grocery shopping, changed the bed sheets, cooked breakfast and dinner, made a sugar-free no-bake cheese cake (see the recipe by selecting the tab at the top of my blog), and ran a errand with my sweet daughter, I ate lunch with my handsome son!
Now, I'm going to sit down and watch the Texas Rangers play in the world series, game 5: GO RANGERS!

I have added a cardio chart as well to my blog page. I think I like having this on here...it show a lot of good news about being healthy...like total calories burned. COOL!

Revelation Knowledge:
Psalm 23:5-6 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell[a] in the house of the LORD forever.

I remembered what it was like, yesterday, to shop in a "normal" clothing store. It was so grand. I actually had so many more choices. My daughter and I giggled at my revived knowledge of not shopping at a "tent and awning" store. (I really mean a Plus size store...not poking fun at the fluffy people, but just the type of store).

I looked at the clothes hanging on the racks, pick up an article and think, "It looks so small. Surely, it's too small...don't get your hopes up that it will fit". Then I put it on and I am so surprised that it REALLY FITS! My face was beaming and as I walked around all the racks and racks of clothes, I giggle and my grin is so big and my eyes well up with tears of joy. I am such a weeper...girl stuff. Anyway, it was so fun and I felt like a giddy teenager, again.  Afterwards, my daughter and I treated ourselves to some coffee. FABULOUS!

Breakfast:

  • One egg, fried
  • One cheese & turkey sausage
  • Cup of coffee with cream and one packet of Stevia
Snack:
Nope..too full

Lunch:
Cici's Pizza with my youngest son.
  • One slice of thin crust Italiano veggie pizza
  • small signature Italian salad
  • Diet Coke w/lemon
Snack: NO, are you kidding? No way...I'm too full!

Dinner:
  • Pulled pork (no sauce - I added about a teaspoon of barbecue sauce)
  • 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 a sandwich round by Oroweat
  • cup of coffee (like breakfast)
Snack:
  • Small slice of my pumpkin (sugar-free, no-bake) cheesecake.
  • cup of coffee (I was cold, today).

Week 21, Day 4, Diet with Dianna

Thursday - I had a super day. I was blessed to spend the day with two great friends. I was even blessed with a free lunch at Jason't Deli...but spending time with a good friend is priceless!  It was such a joy to laugh and talk and minister to each other. My Spirit was so uplifted and recharged when I arrived home, even though it was a long day and I was tired.
Then I was honored to spend the evening with my family and we dined together and just hung out. We watched our team play the second game in the World Series on television, and they won. It was just the best day!
Thank you Lord for unexpected blessings...

NOTE: My friend suggested a website for me to check out. It is pretty cool, with phone apps to boot. I really liked it...but it took me while to set it up; which I think I still have some things to do. So here's what you see below:

  • A chart of the food I ate yesterday with all the calories counted and distributed in categories. It is a different than my S/C, but I will add that to the top of my page. I don't know if I will continue to use this and I will try it on...like a pair of shoes. If it fits I'll continue.
Exercise:
Walked late last night and my hand got really cold. 1.5 mi.
No kettlebell...I was just to tired and it was late.

Revelation Knowledge:
Rejoice in the BIG and small blessings of each day! Tell God thank you for it ALL.

Here is the new Chart:

Daily: S/C: 7/5
(the chart did not let me add sugars as a category...weird).

Week 21, Days 2 & 3

Tuesday & Wednesday

Well, I completely missed Tuesday and that's just too bad.
Today is even more busy! I volunteered in the church offices, bought some food from the big chain warehouse club, cooked muffins (well started them anyway), and started twenty-four breakfast biscuits for the working men in our household.
Sadly, in the middle of all that I found out that a friend's husband died, from a brain aneurysm this past Monday, and I only found out that there was a visitation this evening...at the last minute. I rode with my mother and sister to offer our love and show support. My friend lives about an hour away and during rush hour traffic, it took a bit longer. Unfortunately, tragedy isn't convenient. I am so thankful that she is a strong christian woman and that she had such a great attitude and outlook on her current situation.

One of the reasons I was able to leave on such short notice is that I have a super support system and team family! My son and Hubby finished up the muffins, by pulling them out of the oven and wrapping them, individually, then putting them in the freezer. My very talented daughter came home from a long day at work and finished up the twenty-four breakfast sandwiches for her father and brother! I am so blessed! Thank you, everyone for pitching in and coming to my rescue! I appreciate being able to go without fretting or worrying about leaving the food...to ruin. AWESOME!

Exercise:
Kettlebell workout for beginners  (this is not me, just examples).
Walked 1.5 mi (around 9 p.m.) Brr, it was very cool...thank you Lord!
