Week 24, Sunday

REVELATION KNOWLEDGE:  If I am a slave to God, then I cannot be a slave to food!  I crave the Lord, I don't crave food! I eat to live, not live to eat! I feel the emptiness with the Word of God. I don't fill the emptiness with food!


24 weeks and 31 pounds less! NICE!!!!
Good Morning Sunday! My hubby worked all weekend at church, operating camera. I miss hanging with him when he's gone all weekend. I'm glad that he enjoys volunteering, it's just too bad that it uses up all the free time on the weekends. He barley has any free time to rest up for the upcoming week.  I don't see how he does it? Up everyday by 4 a.m, at work by 5 a.m., works out until 5:45 a.m. showers and is eating breakfast by 6 a.m. and busy at his desk working by 6:30 a.m.  He has been doing this for the past two years, now. He has lost a lot of weight and has really buffed up. He is in better shape than he was at 30, 40, or 50. Amazing. His stamina and consistency just puts me in awe!  I am so grateful that he is a good example to our family. He is also a Godly man! I am truly blessed.

This morning I slept until 8 a.m. and got up to make breakfast to only three members of our family. Leftover pancakes for the young'uns and egg, bacon and coffee for me...and a spoon full of raw steel cut oats...FIBER is my friend. I really like munching on the oats, they have such a yummy flavor...uncooked. If I were to cook the oats, they would take nearly 30 minutes. So I'll just take a spoonful and get the same benefits without all the calories.  Now, from time to time I will cook some hot steamy oats...for a cold morning and add a packet of stevia and some fresh blueberries! OH! DEE-lish-ous!  It's making me hungry.  ~Time to get up and exercise...

My mom gave me some 5 alarm peanuts...they are so good! I grab a few and my mouth heats up. They are a fun snack and good for me!


Menu:
One pan fried egg, and one slice of bacon.

Handful of spicy peanuts

Garden Salad (Olive oil and vinegar dressing) and roasted chicken

Beef taco salad...homemade - lower in calories and lower in fat! (I use freshly ground turkey breast). SO DEE-Lishous!

1/2 cup of sugar free cherry Jell-O
