Thanksgiving Day! My entire core family had the perfect day! God is good!
We didn't do the traditional Thanksgiving feast, but instead deleted all the cooking and cleaning and overeating and ate food from Boston Market, shot pool, played board games, had family photos made, went to the Gaylord Texan and looked at all the Christmas lights and toy trains, (they) ate huge cookies and drank hot cocoa (I drank coffee and no cookies for me), watched the Cowboy's win the football game. Then we got home and watched a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, went to the grocery store and finally ended the day around 12:30 a.m. AWESOME day!
Menu:
Family: cinnamon rolls and orange rolls
Me: one egg, turkey sausage, 1/2 cup of oats w/blueberries and cream
Boston Market:
Family: Turkey, Dressing, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, corn bread rolls, pumpkin or Apple pie
Me: Roasted chicken, sweet potatoes (yes, I indulged), and green beans. One corn bread muffin
Oh and I ate a small slice of Apple Pie!!! Oh, it was delicious but WAY too sweet...Ahhh!
Coffee with sugar free almond flavoring
A few corn chips and salsa as a late snack.
I did not exercise...It was a holiday and I took the day off.
Welcome to my blog: Diet with Dianna! Me: I was born and raised in Texas and food has always been a large part of my life. We Texans enjoy eating and we will rustle up some grub for just about any occasion: birthday, wedding, engagement, baby shower, and even funerals. Sadly, I ate too much over the years and it is now time to get healthy! I am making good food choices and exercising. Join me on my journey to lose 100 pounds!
